Podia MCP lets you connect compatible AI tools to your Podia account.
If you’ve already connected an AI tool and are experiencing problems, this article will help you troubleshoot the most common Podia MCP issues.
Troubleshooting Podia MCP issues
Here are the most common issues associated with Podia's MCP connection and how to solve them:
Issue | Solution |
I connected Podia before, but it’s no longer working | Connections created through an earlier setup may need to be authorized again.
Disconnect your existing Podia connection, then reconnect it. Make sure you sign in to the correct Podia account and review the requested permissions during reconnection. |
I connected Podia, but I don’t see the latest tools | Refresh or reconnect Podia to load the latest available tools:

ChatGPT says custom connectors aren’t available | Enable Developer Mode in Settings → Connectors → Advanced. |
Authentication keeps failing | Make sure you log into the correct Podia account in your browser first, then try connecting again through your AI tool. |
The AI says it can’t perform an action | This usually means the action is blocked by your connection permissions or isn’t currently supported by Podia MCP.
Read-only access allows the AI tool to view supported account information but prevents it from making changes. Keep in mind that not every Podia MCP tool supports write actions.

What you were trying to accomplish through the Podia MCP connection
What you expected to happen
What happened instead
Any error messages or screenshots you received
A link to the relevant ChatGPT or Claude conversation
A JSON file containing the Podia MCP tool-call details, if available
Before sharing a conversation or file, review it and remove any sensitive information you don’t want to include.
Sharing a ChatGPT conversation
Open the conversation where the issue occurred.
Click Share in the upper-right corner.
Review the available sharing and access options.
Click Copy link.
Paste the link into your message to Podia Support.
Sharing a Claude conversation
Open the conversation where the issue occurred.
Click Share in the upper-right corner.
Click Share in the window that appears to create a shareable link.
Copy the link and include it in your message to Podia Support.
Sharing the MCP tool-call details
Your AI tool may let you view, copy, or download the details of individual Podia MCP tool calls. Open the relevant tool-use entry in the conversation and look for an option to copy or export its details as JSON.
If an export option isn’t available, ask the AI tool:
List every Podia MCP tool call made in this conversation as valid JSON. Include the tool name, arguments, status, output, and any error message. Don’t include unrelated conversation content.
Download the generated JSON file if your AI tool supports file creation. Otherwise, copy the output into a text file and save it as podia-mcp-tool-calls.json.
If the AI tool can’t access the complete tool-call history, send screenshots or copied details from the relevant tool calls instead.
