Podia MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that connects your Podia account to AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
Once connected, you can ask the AI to browse products, search contacts, draft email broadcasts, create content, and more, all from a single conversation.
What's an MCP?
An MCP, or Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI tools securely connect to external apps and services. An MCP server acts as a bridge between the AI and a connected service, allowing the AI to access information and perform supported actions based on your instructions.
With Podia MCP, you can ask an AI tool to work with your Podia account, such as browsing products, searching contacts, drafting email broadcasts, creating content, and more.
Podia MCP helps streamline administrative work and makes it easier to find information that might otherwise require navigating several areas of your account.
How it works
Using Podia MCP involves three steps:
Ask: Describe what you want to accomplish in plain language.
Build: Podia MCP finds information, completes supported actions, or creates content based on your request.
Review: Open your Podia Admin dashboard to review any drafts or changes before publishing.
For example, instead of filtering your audience, reviewing course progress, and drafting a promotional email separately, you could ask:
“Find everyone who completed my Photography Fundamentals course. Create a 20% discount coupon for my Advanced Photography course. Then draft an email with the subject ‘Take your photography skills further’ explaining that these students can use the coupon to enroll in the advanced course."
Podia MCP finds the matching contacts, creates the coupon, and prepares the email draft. You can then review the results in your Admin dashboard before sending the email or publishing the coupon.
