A favicon, or site icon, is a tiny 16×16 pixel image that acts as your website's branding. It helps visitors find your page quickly among many open tabs.

You can easily customize your site's icon on Podia with just a couple of steps!

Add a favicon to your site

By default, your site's favicon will look like this:


In order to customize your site's favicon, follow these steps:

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the Admin dashboard, click Website in the sidebar menu.

  3. Select Edit site.

  4. Click on the page navigation menu in the upper left corner. The name may vary depending on the page you're currently seeing.

  5. Using the left-hand menu, navigate to your Site settings. Your site settings can be found at the bottom of your page list.

    • If you have many pages, just keep scrolling until you find it.

  6. Upload your favicon under the Site icon field.

Favicon dimensions:

  • Recommended size: 300x300 pixels

  • Must be PNG or X-ICON format

  • Must be under 100kb in size

FAQs

I'm not seeing my favicon... HELP!

Favicons can take some time to update, so we recommend waiting a couple of hours for them to appear.

If it doesn’t show up, try clearing your browser’s cache/cookies and restarting your browser. You can also open your site in a private/incognito window to check if it appears there.
