Can I create multiple communities?

Podia supports one community per account, but you can use Plans to create segmented spaces with different access levels for members.

Podia supports only one community per account, so creating multiple communities under the same Podia account isn't possible.

However, if you’re looking to serve different audiences or offer tiered access, you can use Plans to create a similar experience within a single community.

Using plans to organize your community

While Podia doesn’t support multiple separate communities in one account, you can use plans to create distinct spaces inside your single community.

Your whole Community area (which centers around a home feed) will act as the umbrella for multiple subscription plans underneath it. These plans can act as tiers of your community/membership (e.g., Gold, Silver, Bronze).

Plans let you:

  • Offer access to different spaces

  • Segment members based on what they’ve purchased

  • Customize the member experience—without managing multiple accounts

In this case, you’ll need to update your community’s name to something more general. That way, it can represent and support all of the different plans and offers you’d like to create.

How to set it up

  1. Define your community name - Your single community area will act as the umbrella for multiple subscription plans underneath it. Try to have a general name that encompasses all of the plans you create. (e.g. One Stop Community)

  2. Create your plans - Your plans will act as completely different parts of your community. (e.g. Stock traders, New parents, etc.)

  3. Hide your plans - You'll want to hide your plans so that only those with a direct link will be able to find your plan.

  4. Create private spaces per plan - Each plan can have its own hidden space that is only shown in the plans you choose.

  5. Create a custom page for each plan - Create a separate sales page for each plan by creating a custom page per unique subscription! Once the page is created, you can pull the direct checkout URL for each plan to use on those Custom Pages.

Need completely separate communities?

If you want totally separate spaces with different branding, domain name, member lists, or products, you can:

  • Create another Podia account at podia.com

  • Use a different email address for each account

  • Note that each account comes with separate billing
