Displaying an Upgrade plan button on the home feed makes it easier for free members to discover your paid plans and easily upgrade when the time feels right.
Introduction
Podia makes it easy for you to encourage free members to upgrade to paid plans by enabling an Upgrade plan button on your home feed.
Members with free access to your Podia account will see a lightweight Upgrade button in the left-hand navigation on their home feed, giving them a clear and easy way to explore your paid plans at any time.
Clicking this button will take free members to your Plans page, where all of your paid plans are displayed.
Enabling the "Upgrade Plan" button
Here's how to enable the "Upgrade Plan" button for members with free access to your community:
From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.
From the Admin dashboard, click Settings > Community in the sidebar menu.
Click Edit next to the Upgrade button option.
Check the "Show upgrade button" checkbox.
Change the button label if you'd like, by editing the information under the Button label box.
Hit Save to save your changes.
Once the Upgrade button is enabled, it will begin showing up for any members with free access to your community.
