Understanding Podia plan limits

Understand the limits on each plan

Written by Rodrigo

Each Podia plan includes a set of limits and features for your account. In this article, we’ll walk through those plan limits and explain how they work.

Understanding Podia Plan limits

Each Podia plan comes with specific limits. To stay on your current plan, you’ll need to remain within those limits, as it isn’t possible to go over them.

If you need more than a plan allows (for example, more than 50 products on the Mover plan), you’ll need to upgrade to a plan with higher limits.

You can view your limits and where you currently stand directly from your Billing page.

Here are the existing limits for each plan.

FAQs

Can I purchase more of a specific item (e.g. just purchase more videos)?

No. If you need more than a plan allows (for example, more than 50 products on the Mover plan), you’ll need to upgrade to a plan with higher limits.

We don’t currently offer à la carte upgrades for individual limits or features. Limits can only be increased by upgrading to a different Podia plan.

What happens if I'm above limit and I want to downgrade my account?

You won’t be able to downgrade your account if you’re currently exceeding one or more limits of the plan you’re trying to move to.

Before downgrading, you’ll need to reduce your usage so it falls within the limits of the new plan. For example, you may need to delete products, remove videos, or reduce other usage-based items.

The one exception is subscriber tiers. If you lower your subscriber tier to a number below your current active subscriber count, the downgrade can still be completed, but email sending will be disabled until you’re back within the selected subscriber limit or upgrade to a higher tier.

What happens if I’m on a trial and want to upgrade to a paid plan, but I’m over its limits?

If you’re on a trial and your account exceeds the limits of the plan you’d like to upgrade to, you won’t be able to select that plan.

For example, if you have 55 products in your account and want to upgrade to the Mover plan, which supports up to 50 products, the upgrade won’t be available until your account is within that plan’s limits.

You’ll only be able to upgrade to plans that support your current usage, or reduce your usage first, so it fits within the limits of the plan you’d like to choose.
