Natively, you are able to upload and display your videos directly to Podia.
In some cases, however, you may already have those videos uploaded and hosted elsewhere!
Embedding the externally hosted videos in your Podia site is a great way to save upload time.
Supported platforms: Vimeo, YouTube, Dailymotion
Locating the video URL
As with all embeds in Podia, you will only need to grab the direct URL to the video that you'd like to embed.
β Embed code is not supported in Podia.
In the examples below, we've shown the paths to collect URLs in both YouTube and Vimeo.
YouTube
From the video page, click the Share button. From the module that appears, simply copy the link!
β
Vimeo
From the video page, hover over the video and click the Share button. From the module that appears, copy the link!
Embedding the video
Inside a product
Videos can be embedded in text areas that support our rich-text editor on Products (such as course lessons, Coaching/Webinar Instructions, etc.)
Simply click into any supported text area and use the Embed option from the quick menu in the text editor.
On your site
You can embed your file into any section that is labeled as a Text section.
Use the Embed command available in the text editor's quick menu.
The embed will first appear in the text editor.
When you save and exit the page, then reopen the page in the editor, you will see it displayed on your site page.
